The LRC Computer Lab is available for all Clover Park Technical College students during regular Library hours. Computer Lab equipment includes PCs and Macs. All computers are connected to a printer and have access to the Internet, Canvas and Library resources.
The Library lends out a limited number of laptops to students every quarter, for one quarter at a time. If you are interested in checking out a laptop for Spring Quarter, please call the Library at (253) 589-5544 or email cptclibrary@cptc.edu.
Please note that laptop hold requests may not be placed online: you must speak with a Library staff member directly, in-person or by phone or email, to place a laptop on hold.
Students in the following programs are eligible to borrow high-powered laptops: Architectural Engineering Design, Interior Design, and Digital Entertainment Design and Production. Please let Library staff know if you are enrolled in one of these programs when requesting a laptop.
Printing and copying are free for CPTC students, but will require an account in Papercut. See a Computer Lab Tech Staff for help with setting up an account.
Scanning
The LRC printers also function as scanners. Documents are scanned as a PDF or jpeg and sent to an email account. There is no charge to use the scanner function on the printers but a printing code is required to access the scanning feature.
