LEARN AI Certificate Program

30-Hour LEARN AI Certificate, Course 1: LEARN AI, Course 2: AI+ETHICS, Course 3: AI+TEXT, Course 4: AI+MEDIA, Course 5: ADVANCED AI, Course 6: CAPSTONE

Program Description

A concise, modular certificate that equips learners with core through advanced skills in generative AI. Students explore AI’s practical uses, ethical implications, and innovative potential across text, image, audio, and video mediums.

Certificate Learning Outcomes

Foundational AI Skills: Use generative AI tools (text, image, video, audio) in personal, academic, and professional contexts.

Ethical & Responsible AI: Recognize biases, privacy issues, and societal impacts, ensuring AI usage aligns with ethical standards.

Advanced Prompt Engineering: Master complex prompts for diverse applications, demonstrating strategic AI interactions.

Field-Specific Integration: Apply AI techniques in specialized industries (business, healthcare, education, trades) for real-world solutions.

Comprehensive AI Portfolio: Showcase growth and proficiency through AI-driven projects and critical reflections on AI’s societal impact.

Course #1: LEARN AI

Course Learning Outcomes:

  1. Identify how AI impacts daily life and potential use cases.
  2. Explore fundamental ethics in AI usage, emphasizing trust-building.
  3. Apply basic prompt engineering for text-based AI tools.
  4. Generate and reflect on text-to-image outputs.
  5. Demonstrate scenario-based usage in role-play settings.

Course #2: AI+ETHICS

Course Learning Outcomes:

  1. Recognize core ethical concepts tied to AI’s societal impact.
  2. Analyze unethical AI use through real-world examples.
  3. Investigate data usage, privacy, and potential biases in AI.
  4. Examine fairness and transparency in AI-driven decisions.
  5. Reflect on how AI can promote or hinder equity.

Course #3: AI+TEXT

Course Learning Outcomes:

  1. Employ AI for brainstorming and ideation.
  2. Produce concise summaries using AI assistance.
  3. Generate organized lists and structured outputs.
  4. Explore creative writing collaborations with AI.
  5. Develop persuasive text while respecting ethical standards.

Course #4: AI+MEDIA

Course Learning Outcomes:

  1. Use AI-powered design tools for media production.
  2. Transform text into images for professional or creative use.
  3. Convert written prompts into short video content.
  4. Produce AI-generated audio narrations or voice-overs.
  5. Integrate multiple media elements into a cohesive project.

Course #5: ADVANCED AI

Course Learning Outcomes:

  1. Infer hidden prompts/constraints by analyzing AI outputs.
  2. Construct multi-step prompts for complex tasks.
  3. Guide AI through multiple roles or identities.
  4. Organize prompts/responses using a “Tree of Thought” approach.
  5. Develop an interactive adventure, showcasing advanced AI scenarios.

Course #6: CAPSTONE

Course Learning Outcomes:

  1. Identify a specialized domain for real-world AI application.
  2. Develop a comprehensive plan for an AI-driven project.
  3. Execute, document, and address ethical considerations in the project.
  4. Compile a final portfolio demonstrating AI proficiency and insights.
