Interior Design at Clover Park Technical College

Why Choose the Bachelor of Applied Science in Interior Design Program?

Take your education a step further and open the door to additional opportunities in the interior design industry with CPTC’s Bachelor of Applied Science in Interior Design degree (BASID). Our coursework is designed to help elevate your creative and technical skills and hone your design process.

The BASID degree can help boost your career in multiple facets of the interior design industry, including positions at residential and commercial architecture and design firms.

In the program, students expand their knowledge of interior design and construction, research current issues and topics affecting the interior design industry, develop business and project management techniques, increase their experience with related technology skills, and apply these to solve problems in the interior design industry.

The hybrid delivery model for this degree has been designed to meet the educational needs of a diverse population including working adults.

Mentored study design studios and a capstone course will be used to develop students’ independent thought and critical thinking skills to the level expected in a baccalaureate degree.
