In this session, you will learn about great free resources at your disposal for finding good books to read, and you will learn how to explore them for your own reading pleasure!

Title: Plant Identification: Getting to know plants on the campus outdoor laboratory

Location: Meet in the atrium in B-24 then walk across the street to the outdoor lab

Description: This hands-on session will provide participants an opportunity to examine plants in the CPTC outdoor laboratory that covers 110 acres, which boasts a variety of plant species, including oak trees, wetland and evergreen forest.

Title: Rock Drumming 101

Description: Learn to play a drum beat that will allow you to finally be in that AC/DC cover band you always wanted to join! You will learn the names of the drums in a basic drum set, how to count the notes played in a beat, and how to use your hands and feet in combination in order to play a basic rock drumbeat.
